WHO WE ARE
OUR JOURNEY
Hornets Futsal’s story began with the Hornets football tradition in England, founded on the belief that players should earn their time on the court through commitment, discipline, and continuous improvement. That philosophy later took root in North Carolina, where Hornets developed into an independent, futsal-focused club serving players throughout the Triangle region.
Over the years, Hornets Futsal has built a development pathway that emphasizes technical skill, creativity, confidence, and game intelligence. Its players have competed across North Carolina and on regional, national, and international stages. Through academy training, competitive teams, and national-level programming, the club continues to give ambitious young athletes an environment in which they can learn, compete, and grow.
Although its programs have evolved, Hornets remains guided by the values at the heart of its history: honesty, pride, respect, positivity, and accountability. Today, the club continues its tradition of developing creative, courageous players while sharing a lasting passion for the game of futsal.

RICH BRYAN

Founder of Hornets Futsal and co-founder of Hornets Football Club (UK) Rich has been at the forefront of Futsal development for 20+ years on two continents.Through Hornets Futsal, Rich has helped bring a spotlight to the sport, both as a supplemental development tool for soccer, but also as a stand alone sport with its own culture and unique demands.
DAN GALEANA
HEAD OF GIRLS DEVELOPMENT

Dan Galeana has been dedicated to the development of futsal since 2013, coaching both boys and girls from U7 to U19. Through his leadership, multiple teams have earned the opportunity to compete in world and championship tournaments in Orlando, where they have gone on to medal. Dan continues to contribute to the growth of futsal by developing players and helping them succeed at higher levels of competition.

Luke Musser has been a committed leader for Hornets Futsal, both as a player (2020-2024) and as a coach for the U9-U11 age group (2023-present). Luke has used his personal growth and experience as a player to develop the next generation of Hornets Futsal as a coach.

Coach Reggie brings over five years of coaching experience across recreational, club, and middle school soccer programs. He began his coaching journey at the recreational level, where he quickly found success developing young players and building confident teams.
Known for his technical focus, high energy, and engaging training style, Coach Reggie creates an environment that is intense, competitive, and fun. He is passionate about developing confident, skilled players who understand the game and love the process of improvement.
